Club News - Jan. 23, 2020

Hope everyone stayed safe during the big storm and don’t have too many sore muscles from shovelling!    Here is news from Fudoshin Judo:
 

• Judo classes will resume on Monday Jan. 27.  No classes this weekend due to storm cleanup and the St. John’s state of emergency.
• Reminder that fees are due for those who received belt gradings before the Christmas break.  Also if you didn’t pay for a full year, winter semester registration fees are now due.
• Anyone interested in competing at the Atlantic Judo Tournament in PEI (April 18-19) or National Championships in Edmonton (May 15-18) needs to inform their coach and Head Coach Maurice Sheppard by Feb. 1.  Interested athletes need to fully participate in training and the Spring Provincial tournament in order to be eligible to go to the tournaments.
• Willing to donate your recyclable bottles to the club for fundraising?  You can drop off your bottles to any Evergreen Recycling location using our club account (Fudoshin Judo Club) and account number 7260945
